TextRudi: club website updates from WhatsApp
TextRudi is an AI agent for German amateur clubs, mostly soccer. It keeps the club website up to date from WhatsApp messages from the whole club, not one volunteer. Features include a website, newsletter, club calendar, facility calendar, membership form, and tournament planner. TextRudi is built and run by the ZenStudy Agents team.
The problem before
Club volunteer work depends on the same few people.
"We had a decent website where nothing had happened for years. Today the match report is online on Monday morning without any of us typing it... With nine departments that is the difference between intention and reality."
The loop, step by step
Each day, TextRudi pulls official fussball.de fixtures and results into the club calendar. About 4h after kick-off it fetches the result and asks one team lead to own the match report. With editor OK, it asks a coach or player 2 to 4 questions over WhatsApp, drafts the post from real answers, and sends a review copy. Only after that review does the post go live on the club website.
- Fixtures
Daily calendar sync
Daily, it pulls official fussball.de fixtures and results into the club calendar. This write is automatic.

About 4h after kick-off
About 4h after kick-off, it fetches the result and asks one team lead to own the match report.
- Questions
2 to 4 questions
With editor OK, it asks a coach or player 2 to 4 questions over WhatsApp. It uses real answers only and never invents quotes.
- Draft
Club tone draft
It drafts the post in the tone of the club's recent posts and saves it as a non-public draft.
- Review
Review copy
It sends the member a review copy over WhatsApp, or an edit link if the draft is long.
- Publish
Post goes live
Only after that review does the post go live on the club website. The member copies and posts WhatsApp channel and social updates.
The human gate
Posts go public only after a review copy
Review and approval apply to posts only. Fixture and result sync writes to the public calendar automatically. Once an admin starts a trial website, that site publishes by itself.
Contributors only send tips. Editors and above write posts, events, and website copy. Only admins take the site live or offline, add a custom domain, send the newsletter, or export subscribers. The newsletter goes out only after a test send and an explicit yes.

"In 2026 our homepage still showed the Covid form from 2020. That was embarrassing in front of every visitor. Six weeks after the switch we had 36 enquiries through the contact form, from people who simply couldn't reach anyone before."
"Our match reports stop in 2016, and the veterans had their own site next to ours. Today both live in one place and the club history since 2009 came along in full. Losing nothing mattered more to me than any new design."
What we deliberately don't automate
No Instagram or Facebook publish
TextRudi drafts per channel style. The member posts to Instagram and Facebook.
No invented quotes
It uses real answers only. It never invents quotes.
No post without a review copy
A post does not go live on the club website until the member has the review copy.
No newsletter without a yes
The newsletter goes out only after a test send and an explicit yes.
No acting beyond the person's rights
Contributors only send tips. Editors and above write posts, events, and website copy. Only admins take the site live or offline, add a custom domain, send the newsletter, or export subscribers.
Ready to hand off one loop?
Name the recurring ops loop that eats your week. We build a production agent in the tools you already use (usually email or WhatsApp), wire it in, and monitor it so it keeps running. When a decision is needed, a human is in the loop. You own the outcome. We own the agent.
